We’re Dan and Lauren, a married photo and video duo from South Yorkshire, capturing people, places, and their stories.

OUR STORY

 

Our love of film and photography started long before Firth Photo & Film. After eloping to New York in 2024, we discovered how powerful it is to relive a moment through video and photo and how those memories can transport you straight back to the feelings of the day. That passion for storytelling inspired us to help others preserve their own memories, from weddings and engagements to events and hospitality.

 

By day, we both work as project managers, which means we bring a calm, organised, and detail-focused approach to everything we do, from planning timelines to capturing your big moments. You can trust that everything will run smoothly, and that nothing will be missed.

We believe that being in front of a camera should feel easy and natural, never forced or awkward. Our approach is relaxed and friendly like two friends following you with a camera, capturing every laugh, tear, and moment in between.

 

We also believe that beautiful photo and video memories shouldn’t come with an impossible price tag. That’s why we’ve created affordable packages designed to make high-quality photography and videography accessible to everyone, without compromising on creativity or care.

 

Our aim is simple: to make you feel comfortable and to create beautiful, lasting memories you’ll treasure forever.​

  • We eloped to New York in 2024,  just the two of us, our cameras, and our appetite's, It’s still our favourite adventure yet.

  • We’re both project managers by day, which means we bring calm, organisation, and attention to detail to every shoot.

  • We’re huge foodies, if we’re not filming, you’ll probably find us trying a new restaurant or planning our next meal.

  • We love to travel, and our passion for exploring new places is what first inspired us to start making videos.

  • Coffee (for Dan) and tea (for Lauren) are our creative fuel, especially during long edit days.

  • We believe the best films come from real connections, so we love using our work as an opportunity to make new friends.

  • We’re happiest with a camera in hand, great food nearby, and good people to capture.
